A service that understands the power of a great reception is the Ohio State University Alumni Association in Columbus, Ohio. Its wonderful receptionist greets people warmly, partly because her business card constantly reminds her of her enormous influence.
Her title on it reads, "Director of First Impressions."
Richard Stern, the long time receptionist for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, has earned a broader title that reflects a receptionist's influence. His title is "Director of First and Last Impressions."
