Money Making Secret #2 - How to Write an Article in 30 Minutes

Deadlines! Deadlines! Have you ever made a commitment to get something done by a certain date and time? Well, I did and I was pushing the clock on the last day.

It was Sunday at 5PM and I wanted to catch 60 Minutes on CBS at 6PM. My article was still on my mind. The subject was publishing ... so I asked "What are the most common mistakes authors/publishers make?"

I opened an MS Word file and typed in 4 common mistakes, and almost immediately the answers or solutions to these mistakes came to mind. Within 30 minutes I had my article completed and sent off to my editor. Still time for dinner and 60 Minutes (which I chose NOT to watch).

PS By the end of this week, I'll have my friend Larry post these 4 Common Mistakes (and their solutions) to http://JoeSabah.com.

Come take a peak.

The inspiration for this style of writing for me comes from listening to Dr. Laura Schlesinger who wrote "10 Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up their Lives." Followed by "10 Stupid Things Men Do ..."

Q. How can you use this idea to 'get writing'?

Money Making Secret #3 - Tax Time Tips

This FREE MONEY! idea is from Parade Magazine Sunday Feb. 16, 2003

Are you (or an employee or a loved one) leaving money on the table? People who earn relatively low wages often qualify to receive an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) that can be as high as $4,140 -- even if they paid no income tax.

An estimated 4 million workers don't claim the credit they qualify for, often because they don't know about it. Pass this information on to someone you know.

Those who discover they quality for the EITC often can get a check retroactively by filing what's called a Form 1040X -- an amended tax return -- for up to three prior years.

The EITC is designed mainly to help working parents (and thus, their kids) and to encourage work rather than welfare.

To learn more, call 1-800-829-3676 for IRS Publication 596. Or just go to any professional tax preparer.
