Money Making Secret #1 What did you do last week?
The #1 and #2 'Secrets to making money' this week are from my 12 years experience with a large life insurance company.
The MOST valuable lesson I learned in working for a large business environment is: "Everything has to be documented."
Every Saturday we were required to complete a one-page form. Side #1, What did you do this week? with blocks/fields for each day of the week, and of course, the RESULTS that came from that week's work.
Side #2, What are you going to do NEXT week? Again, with blocks/fields for each day, and the EXPECTED RESULTS.
Hmmm, the memory of this experience came back to me the other day, when I asked myself ... "Joe, what did you do this week? Did it help you get closer to your goal/s? And again, What are you going to do next week?"
Dear e-zine subscriber/reader, what system are YOU using to track Last Week and Next Week? I'd like to hear from you before next Sunday evening February 9th.
I'm offering prizes for the BEST 3 ideas. They will receive copies of my book and audio tape set "How to Get On Radio Talk Shows All Across America Without Leaving Your Home or Office."
In addition to your description of your BEST idea, please include a one-line note giving me permission to share your idea with others.
Ready, Set, GO!

Money Making Secret #2 - Mail, Mail, Everywhere there's Mail
A short story from 1994.
"Joe, did you pick up ALL the mail?" That was Judy's question to me when I came out of the postoffice with 6 small pieces of mail in my hand.
You should see the USPS box we had rented. Its 12 inches wide, by 12 inches deep ... and ONLY 6 pieces of Mail.
Back to Judy's question, "Joe, did you pick up ALL the mail?" My answer was a quick "No." Then she asked "Why not?" My response: "When we get home, we'll pick up our email, our fax mail and our voice mail."
Hmmm, just think we couldn't have had this conversation 10 years ago, or hardly five years ago ... but TODAY, there are lots of ways to get mail (information), and that's what this money making idea is about...
How do YOU like to get YOUR information?
For many of us ALL four types of communication are necessary to run our lives and businesses today.
Again, I'm interested in hearing from you on how you are handling what seems to be "Information Overload."
My first tip to you:
As your US Mail comes in, analyze each piece you receive. Is this something you are receiving on a regular basis? Do you wish to continue receiving it? Why not call the 800# on the piece and ask them to remove your name ... and SAVE A TREE. PLUS, save a lot of time for you.
