When you're buying on line and you get to the check out, often there's a place to enter a promotional code. You KNOW that you're not getting the best deal! So, open another browser window and google the site name + promotional code (for example victoria secret promo code). You'll be delighted at how many times you'll find an operational code that will give you an additional 10%, 15%, 25% or even $25.00 off of your purchase! Money Making Secret #2 - A Goldmine In Your Backyard
Hi Joe, It's my turn to share one of my money saving discoveries. It's no secret so this is a reminder for people. I use the library. I've needed to get the last bit of my manuscript done so I could send it to the editor and needed a quiet place to go to work. Instead of renting space, I went to one of my local libraries where there is a private (study) room for me. There is an electrical outlet so I can plug in my laptop. There are phone lines (which I didn't use) and the door even has a lock so when I take bathroom breaks (I was there for nine hours yesterday!) I don't have to worry about my stuff.
I have a friendly "staff" who will help me with research. They'll do their best to get a hold of any book I'm may need so I'm saving $$ by not buying books. Of course, there are book sales at most libraries also. I just got a brand new two audio tape set on parenting for $2, there are always a supply of children's books and novels. By the way, who needs video stores when the library stocks current releases? We had the first Harry Potter movie in our home the day before it was released for rentals and sales. I love the library. :-)
