Money Making Secret #2 - USPS Helps Authors and Publishers
Long ago there was a special Book Rate category for US Mail. It was in the 4th class category. This category has been discontinued and replaced with a new one called MEDIA MAIL.
US Postage for Media Mail is ONLY $1.42 for up to one pound and ONLY $1.84 for up to two pounds, regardless of zone or ZIP code.
I've found that local MEDIA MAIL is delivered within one or two days, and of course longer across the country.
Just mark the envelope MEDIA MAIL...

Money Making Secret #3 - FREE CREDIT REPORTS
Colorado and several other states have a law that requires credit reporting agencies to supply you with a FREE Credit Report once a year.
It's a case of simply asking. These agencies even provide you a toll free number to call.
The numbers are:
Equifax: 1-800-525-6285
Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742
Trans Union: 1-800-680-7289
WHY would you want a copy of your credit report every year? There could be hundreds of reasons, but the most important reason this year is Identity Theft. You'll have an opportunity to check each item on your report and be able to verify that it is correct.
All three reporting agencies offer procedures to correct any item which is incorrect.
Happy safeguarding of your credit files.
PS If you live in a state, other than Colorado, you may wish to contact your state's attorney general's office to inquire about credit reports.
