Well, www.gsa.gov is just the beginning. I have a friend who uses this site to find government contracts for the janitorial business that she and her husband have run for nearly eight years.
Please don't go there expecting a 'one click' service. You will have to spend time getting acquainted with Your Uncle. Keep in mind that the government is the largest buyer/user of office products in the world. Also services: everything from janitorial to training for government employees, seminars and more.

Money Making Idea #3 - Let the Postal Service Help You Make Money/Save Money
When my clients receive the books/systems they order, I almost always ship them USPS Priority Mail. And boy are my clients impressed.
When the Postal rates changed in June 2002, the one item that remained the same is the Priority Mail Flat Rate Shipping Envelope.
First of all, the red/white/blue package allows me to 'stuff' anything that can fit into the USPS Flat Rate Envelope and the postage is ONLY $3.85 anywhere in the entire US (50 states, plus Puerto Rico and Guam). No necessity to check ZIP codes.
Second, USPS provides the envelopes at NO charge and ships them directly to my office.
Third, USPS provides and prints the address labels with MY return address (and of course, ships these labels to me. Again NO charge).

Somewhere in Indianapolis, they are the most helpful service oriented people I've ever experienced.
Sure makes my job and my shipping easy ... and profitable. I take orders from my clients ... package them up ... and email clients with this note: "Watch for the large red/white/blue envelope from the Postal Service ... two days between large cities, 3-4 days between other cities. And I can almost set my calendar by them.
